Risk Disclosure

Last updated: August 2026

This disclosure explains the risks involved in using Elitetraders, including managed plans, copy trading, and live trading. Read it carefully before funding an account.

No Guaranteed Returns

Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of some or all of your principal. Any growth rate, win rate, or performance figure shown on Elitetraders — for a managed plan, a copied trader, or a live trade — reflects historical or illustrative performance and does not guarantee future results.

Managed Strategies

When you fund an account under a managed plan, Elitetraders's strategies trade on your behalf. You don't control individual trade decisions, and a strategy's real-world performance can differ from its stated targets, including producing a loss.

Copy Trading Risk

Copying a trader means your funds follow that trader's positions. A trader's past track record — win rate, monthly growth, assets under management — is historical and does not predict what will happen with your capital. Copying a higher-risk trader can result in larger losses as well as larger gains.

Live Trading Risk

Live Trading lets you take a direct position on a symbol with a defined expiry and unit worth. This is a high-risk, time-boxed form of trading: if the position doesn't resolve in your favor by expiry, you can lose the full amount staked on that trade.

Take Profit and Stop Loss values you enter are recorded with your trade but are not a guarantee of the price at which a position closes.

Market Volatility

Crypto, forex, and stock markets can move quickly and unpredictably. Prices shown on Elitetraders's charts reflect market data as provided by our charting provider and can differ from the price at which a position actually settles.

Liquidity & Withdrawal Timing

Funds allocated to an open managed position, copy trade, or live trade are not available to withdraw until that position closes. Withdrawal requests are also subject to identity verification and review before funds are released.

No Investment Advice

Nothing on Elitetraders — including plan descriptions, trader profiles, or performance statistics — is financial, investment, or legal advice. You're responsible for deciding whether a plan, trader, or trade fits your own financial situation.

Your Responsibility

Only invest money you can afford to lose. Review the terms of a plan or trader, and the mechanics of a live trade, before committing funds.
